The things I have learned here in this studio are incredible and I'm so excited to be able to share my music with you all soon! I will be giving you all an update of my progress in the studio after each session I have. I thank everyone out there who is supporting me. To those who have rocked with me from the beginning, you are the reason I keep going even when I get a little frustrated or discouraged. I'ved learned to always keep God first no matter what and through God, He has put a great production team in my life, a wonderful fan base, and most importantly people who believe in me. Stay tuned for more updates and get ready for some bangers to come your way soon!!!

Coming soon...

Today i finished song number three!!! I'm so happy with them and I can't wait to share them with you all. Studio time is just such a great time for me to concentrate on me. I learn so much and everyday I feel myself improving. With the help of my great team, I'm feeling closer than ever to my dreams. But anyways...just to spill you a lil sum' sum', the songs that my production team and I have written are phenomenal! There's nothing like listening to a song you can relate to and grove to without sex, drugs, or money. I plan to bring back "feel good music"!!!  Songs that we can jam to in a skating rink OR a club. I love everyone who supports me and believes that I will one day (sooner than later) make it to the GRAMMY AWARDS!!
Make sure you check out www.vyzionradio.com and be sure to share it with your friends.

2012 IS THE YEAR!!! <<< I'm just sayin... ;)

One Time For Biggie Smalls/What's Beef?

SO.......today was the day that Christopher George Latore Wallace aka Biggie Smalls aka Big Poppa aka Notorious BIG was shot and killed by an unknown shooter in Los Angeles, CA. He was involved in a heavy east coast vs west coast hip hop war at the time. Biggie dominated the east coast and the west coast took it as a threat. Biggie Smalls was the best rapper ever. This man was a freestyle machine! In my opinion, there has NEVER been another rapper in the industry to even come close to Biggie Smalls skills. I was raised listening to this man....sitting in the passenger seat in my dads dodge stratus in the 90's with his trunk boomin' haha. I never truely understood what he was talkin about at the time but man did i know all of his hooks! My song of the year for 2011 is "What's Beef" by Biggie Smalls. There's some snakes out there and "it's obvious the game's new to ya"....SoWhatsbeef???

Rest in paradise Biggie Smalls (May 21, 1972 – March 9, 1997)

GIVE IT TO GOD

I love how every time something bad happens God plants something wonderful in my life. Lately there has been someone not quite in my life that's been trying to act as a distraction towards my music. It bothered me at first but as soon as i let God handle it, he brought new and even BETTER people into my life. And not only did this happened but even more opportunities and connections came my way...and this time it's business and serious, no more dirty people that can't keep their word. I strongly believe in a LOYAL TEAM...to be loyal means to be honest and upfront, like a family. Every time someone tries to be sneaky or disrespectful...i smile =), because u can't fight evil with evil...that's just not the way things work. I believe that when you don't look for trouble, God will reveal what trouble is ahead to prepare you for the worst. And what's so great about that is that things end up not being so bad when you just let God handle it. I feel that it's so much more work to try to make someone else look bad rather than just to go on about your business. You can't ruin a blessing from God without any consequences. Whether the consequence be that something has been taken from you or that you find out that the one you think loves you really doesn't and is just using you...what comes around goes around. The best thing to do is just be honest.

On the flip side I've been working with Vyzion Entertainments  new super producer Legit! This guy is amazing! He has taken my older songs and remixed them. We added a few things hear and there to finally get the sound I have always been looking for in those songs and i'm soooo excited for everyone to hear the NEW and IMPROVED!!! This week I will be going HAM on my album...will be released shortly. I'm so happy with the way my songs sound now especially L.O.V.E. and Dancefloor Addict. Legit has TOTALLY brought it up to another level and I absolutely love it! I will be finishing up my song "Don't Go" today and I can't for  you all to hear that one as well. Santiago from out of Miami did the beat and it is BANGIN'!!!!

This Friday (feb. 25th) at Club Dolce there will be a DJ Spinoff! This Spinoff is going to be CRRRRAAZYYYY!!! You GOTTA be there! This is time for the grown men and women to get there dance on and party like a rockstarrr. Women get your freakum dresses on and men pull out the Sean John and Chrystal cuz we doin it BIG babyyyy!!! I can't wait to see ya there!!! <3

IN WITH THE NEW AND OUT WITH THE OLD!

So...basically I just thought that I should let you all know (if you don't already) that posting comments on Facebook or tweeting about someone you don't like is downright CHILDISH! Save some energy! It really disgusts me to see people talking about one another in such a hateful and disrespectful manner.
Another thing...stop posting your business out on the internet for everyone to see it!!! lol Do us all a favor, save the drama and keep all ur other personal distractions offline too. There's nothing wrong with disliking someone or even asking for help, but the drama stuff is really just annoying and CHILDISH!
Oh yeah here's another one...all this fake stuff lol, it's gotta go. I think everyone can agree with me that fake people are just annoying and NEVER win.
"What's an example of being fake Miss Rachel??"
Miss Rachel >>> "Lying, claiming to be friends with someone when you really don't like them, claiming you support someone when you really don't...." and the list goes on lol.
I have this idea about peace....peace is what you make of it, and sometimes your own satisfaction is what causes corruption.
Just watch what you say people...there are times where what you say can and will be used against you. <3

RACHEL'S VYZION: Welcome back REAL music!!!!

Miss Rachel vs. Rachel

So many people have asked me, "Is there a difference between Rachel and Miss Rachel?"....NO. Miss Rachel defines who Rachel is. The title "Miss" is respected and classy, and in the music industry, that's what I want to be recognized as, respected and classy. Alicia Keys is my role model for keeping it classy yet sexy in he music industry. I believe to be sexy, you don't have to reveal your body to the world. Men like easy women but don't respect them. I feel the same way about my music. I feel that I don't have to talk about sex in my music just to grab people's attention. Many women today make this very mistake in thinking that showing their body off and singing/rapping about sex will get them more fans and publicity, when in reality the only reason they get attention is because they show off they're body...NOT BECAUSE OF THEIR TALENT. My goal is to help change the music industry so that people can see that it's okay to be sexy as long as it's classy. Not only do I, Miss Rachel, demand respect but I also WILL NOT settle for less.

MISS RACHEL'S VYZION: Keep music Classy ;)
